Miss Catie’s summer senior photos at Maymont with her golden retriever, Cooley, was a shoot for the books! Catie was one of my 2026 Senior Reps and she is such a little ray of sunshine! It was the best year with her and I’m just so thankful she was on my team.

We started her session at Maymont in downtown Richmond, Va. Which, as you know, is a fan favorite location! We started in her more casual look first with the fountain. She wore white jeans and a baby pink top, my favorite outfit combo for senior pictures. Then for her second look, she wore a patchwork matching set from Altar’d State which paired perfectly with the flowers in the Italian Garden at Maymont. Then, for her third look, I called this one the Megan Moroney. She looked just like her!!! I loved the way the blue romper stood out against the all the green foliage, such a fun contrast!

Catie’s last location and outfit, we actually left Maymont and headed to her church. This was a very special location to her and her family. Her grandparents have been going here forever, and it’s where her parents got married! Catie has grown up in this church, and she knew immediately she wanted to take some of her senior photos here. I always LOVE when seniors bring me to spaces that hold a lot of meaning to them. It makes their session more special and unique! Her dad met us here with her golden retriever, Cooley, and he was just the best!!! BRING YOUR DOG! I loooove them <3
