Avery’s vibrant senior photos at the Capitol Building in Richmond, Virginia was the absolute best!! I had the pleasure of having Miss Avery as one of my reps on the 2026 team, and she is just precious! Her fun personality and sweet, baby-doll face shine so brightly in her photos, and I am simply obsessed. I had the best year with her!

We started her session at the Capitol Building of Virginia in downtown Richmond, VA. This location is very popular for senior photos, especially cap and gown sessions! The white structure and columns pair so well with pops of color, like Avery’s Kelly green top and white jeans. Her outfit change into the whimsical pink floral maxi dress was PERFECT!!! I love the silhouette on her, and again, the colors stood out so beautifully against the Capitol.

For her second location, we headed over to Maymont, also in downtown RVA. This is one of my most popular shooting locations for my seniors because of the variety of backgrounds. Avery chose the Japanese and Italian Gardens for her session, and both were stunning. She wore an orange halter maxi dress that complemented her skin beautifully. I love the way the orange contrasted with the lush greenery behind her. Lastly, we headed over to my staple location: the blue wall!! Her white mini dress was perfectly elevated with the pearl detailing down the center. It was the perfect balance of simple and unique!!
