Miss Avery is on the blog today!!! Her VMFA senior session was a summer dream!! This session for Avery was a little unique. Avery joined the 2023 Senior Rep team later in the spring as one of my Richmond girlies. Since she wasn’t on the team yet when we had our first big group photoshoot, I wanted to give her a special session to give her some time in front of the camera!

I had not been to the VMFA yet, and was dying to bring a senior here for portraits, so that’s exactly where we went!! Y’all, I LOVE it here! There are so many cute little corners to photograph in that give some different looks and feels. When we started, we met at the little white chapel on the grounds. While waiting for her to arrive, I noticed this one little tree across the street that had the fluffiest pink blooms on it and could tell there was some good light shining through. We hit it just in time! The sun was setting behind the building you can see in the background, so I knew we had to act quick to get that gorgeous glow!! So worth it!!

There’s honestly just so many good ones in this post that you’ve probably seen all over my Instagram! From the white chapel with the arched green doors, to the sunflowers and the beautiful, historic looking building, this session is a favorite!! And Avery, girl, you know how to work the camera and I LOVE IT!!
