Welcome to chapter five, the ceremony! The Granary at Valley Pike has the most stunning view and ceremony site. There’s actually two different views to choose from for your ceremony, but Chip and I loved the clear view of the rolling hills and fall trees for the backdrop. The ceremony was a dream come true honestly.
We love the Lord around here, and wanted to make sure that was incorporated into our ceremony. My dad built this gorgeous cross for our alter piece. I love how soft and elegant the greenery draped across it looks too. We opted for two flower arrangements at the back of the aisle and ugh, I’m just obsessed with them! They were the perfect addition.
If you’re loking for ceremony music, I’ll link ours here! The guys walked down to “Here Comes the Sun” by Midnite String Quartet. The girls walked down to “A Thousand Years” by the Piano Guys and I walked down the aisle with my dad to “Wildest Dreams” by Duomo. Yes, the Bridgerton version! It was perfect and I loved it and I cried the whole way down the aisle. Then, we danced our way down as Mr. and Mrs. to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole!
Actually funny story, the timing of the song was perfect for when I reached the chairs and started walking down at the chorus. BUT, the chairs got set back a little farther than we planned, so I knew we had to book it there to make it at the chorus. Let me tell you, we were high tailing it and still missed the chorus hahah As we were walking the aisle I realized how fast we were walking and I said, “oh my gosh dad we gotta slow down!!!” So funny to think about now!
Our pastor is amazing and we love him dearly! We are actually good family friends with him so it was so special to have him there and marry us. One thing he told us to do was look out at our guests and take it all in. Look at all the people there that love and support us. It was beautiful and so special. My heart was bursting!
Not only do I love serving my seniors, but I also love serving my fellow photographers! From free downloads, to coaching, to weekly educational videos, and even an ever growing template shop for anything you need.
