Our Wedding Day at The Granary at Valley Pike | Chapter Three – The First Look

Our first look on our wedding day at The Granary was, well, it was magical. If there’s one thing I will always, hands down, recommend to a future bride (as a photographer and recent bride myself) it’s to do a first look on your wedding day. I could go on and on and on about the benefits of sharing this moment together, but I’ll keep it short. It is the only time of the day that you get to be alone with your person. An intimate, quiet moment away from the craziness of everything going on. It is a moment that I will never forget. (If you want more reasons why you should do a first look, just ask me. I’ll give you a ton of reasons of why it’s the best move! 😉

Chip and I wrote our own vows to each other and decided to share them privately during our first look. Deep down I knew I wouldn’t make it through the ceremony trying to say it, and sure enough I was right. Cause I barely made it through it just the two of us! Before that took place, Chip’s reaction was the best ever! Made me feel so special and beautiful. And yes, yes we did both cry our eyes out!

This moment was probably my favorite of the entire day. Just the two of us (plus Angelika, Michael, and Mike hahah) but the sweetest time I will cherish forever.
