Another grad session on the blog, but this time, at VCU! Aka, Virginia Commonwealth University which sits right in the heart of downtown Richmond. I got to spend this VCU grad session with Afrata and her sweet momma and sisters as we explored around campus and found lovely gems of spots to capture her grad portraits!
We started her VCU grad session at the yellow VCU sign where we had the cutest little bunny watching us in the flower bed. I couldn’t get over it, he was so cute! We walked from there to the chapel that sits in the middle of campus for the classic column photos that everyone loves. We made an outfit change and stopped at another VCU sign for a celebratory confetti pop. This confetti photo is my favorite from the entire session!!! The colors and light and everything… too good.
Then, we started out hike down to the School of Business building that Afrata spent all of her class time in and found the cutest hidden garden in the courtyard! Of course, she knew about it, but I was stunned when I saw it! Next time, I’m starting there with the earlier light pouring in over top the building! I just know this is the best spot for studying or doing homework!
Afrata, my gorgeous, stunning gal. Thank you for showing me around campus and allowing me to take your GRAD PORTRAITS! Congrats girlie!! Can’t wait to see you thriving post college life!
