Country Chic Senior Session in Spotsylvania | Kyrstin

Miss Kyrstin is on the blog!!! Her spring, country chic senior session has been one of my favorites this spring!! We had the beautiful day for this sweet girl, so beautiful I lost track of time and almost missed the sunset! I’ll get to that story in a second… Kyrstin is on my 2023 Senior Rep Team and one of the last girlies to have her personal session done, and I’ve been waiting for this one all year!

Kyrstin is truly the sweetest gal I know. So soft spoken yet still hilarious and amazing in every way. She is such a light on the 2023 team and it has been an absolute JOY to watch her come out of her shell a little bit at each session. She is always down for my crazy ideas and I love how she just goes with the flow. When she asked me for a rural, barn setting for her session, my first thought was “omg” but I would do anything for this girl!!! So I took her to the only rural barn I know!

We started her session blasting some T-Swizzle and getting down our classic shots before heading over to the barn where the real magic happened. The lighting was soooo so good at our first two locations, I did in fact lose track of time. While we were at the barn, we found a dried up bouquet of baby’s breath which ended up being the perfect touch to her country chic senior session. The wide landscape photo of her walking down the path… WOW WOW WOW. Hands down going in my top 10 favorite photos I’ve ever taken!

Okay, so yes. Yes, I did lose track of time and had to race through the Fredericksburg rush hour traffic to get us to the river almost 30 minutes away before the sun disappeared. I played it cool, but told her we were on a race against the sun! We made it just in time for the last few minutes of sunset and I love how these soft, glowy river photos turned out!

Kyrstin, I can’t wait to see you off at college in the fall, wherever it may be!!! You are truly a gem!
