John Paul High School Senior Session | Max | Fredericksburg

Max’s senior session in downtown Fredericksburg was the best! This John Paul High School senior session was so chill! Let’s be real, most guys do not like getting their photo taken, especially for a whole hour, but Max stuck with it and they turned out amazing! His mom joined along and I could just tell she was soaking in every second of it.

We started off this John Paul High School senior session in the historic downtown area walking the neighborhood. We definitely hit the timing just right, because just look at that glow coming through the trees in the first location! Golden!! Next, we headed deeper into town to the train station because, well, trains are cool and I knew he would love this spot. I had Max in a sitting pose when the train rolled through and oh my goodness, we were way too close to the yellow line!! I freaked out because the wind gust was so strong, but of course Max sat there like nothing had happened… tough guy, aye?

For our third spot, we headed down to the river and these are my FAVORITE! Max put on his lax jersery and this is when my guy really shined. I could tell how much he loves playing lax and got excited to take some photos in his uniform. And for me, well, just look at that golden hour glow!!

When Max and his mom first inquired, they mentioned to me how he actually has his pilot’s license (SO COOL!!). I was so bummed when we weren’t able to go to the hanger to do some photos with a plane, but hey, trains are cool too! We talked through college options and where he wants to go and when he told me he was looking into MTSU (Middle TN State University), I got SO excited! That’s where most of my family went to school, and where I most definitely would have gone if I had not moved to Virginia right after graduation.
