Eclectic Wedding at Belle’s Pleasure | Fredericksburg, VA | Valerie + Matt

Valerie and Matt’s eclectic wedding day at Belle’s Pleasure was simply just the best! A beautiful day to celebrate a beautiful couple 8 years in the making. The simplistic and rustic details of Belle’s Pleasure paired in perfect contrast to Valerie’s colorful and fun details making her day truly unique to her. I had the honor of photographing one of their bestie’s wedding last year (see Baylee and Andrew’s day here!), so I knew this day was going to be a party!!

The day started off easy going with the guys fishing in the pond at the venue while the girls began getting ready in the beautifully renovated bridal suite in the barn. When I started styling details, I just fell in love with all of her beautiful colors and the whimsical feel it all had. The best part, I found out that Valerie and one of her bridesmaid put together all of the florals themselves! The absolute statement of a bouquet made by one of her best friends. How special is that?!

Valerie and Matt’s first look together was truly just the sweetest. The look on Matt’s face, priceless. They decided to share letters and personal vows with each other. As Valerie shared hers, tears streamed down her faces. Matt wanted to share his privately, so we stepped away and gave them a moment to themselves, but of caught a sneaky pic to capture it 😉

The rest of the day was filled with SO many friends and family gather together to celebrate the biggest step in Val and Matt’s 8 year strong relationship. From high school sweethearts, to college study mates, to now husband and wife. Ho lucky am I to capture this moment in time for them truly starting their legacy together.
