Bold Rock Cidery Engagement Session | Nellysford, VA | Megan + Chris

Megan and Chris had the cutest location idea for their engagement session! These two love going to Bold Rock Cidery in Nellysford, VA, so when Megan came to me with the idea of doing their engagement session here, I obviously said YES! I mean, how fun is that?! We had perfect spring weather and a bright blue sky for the first half of the session, but when you’re in the Shenandoah Valley, an evening sky of clouds is just bound to happen. Nonetheless, we still had a beautiful session together and these two are just so fun and sweet to work with. Bold Rock Cidery offered some gorgeous views as well with the mountains, the fields, and the little creek running down below. All perfect for their session!

Megan and Chris are high school sweethearts and are celebrating their 6 year anniversary this month! They got engaged last Christmas and have been planning for their big day ever since. Chris proposed with a salt + pepper diamond ring. I had never even heard of a diamond like that and when she showed me her ring I was in love! Of course I made sure to get some great close ups of it because it is just SO unique! They are both from right down the road in Staunton, VA, so having their engagement session in the valley was really just an obvious choice perfect for their love story. Megan and Chris are so sweet together. The way Chris looks at her, ugh, makes my heart melt. You can tell they are so in love! Making my job 10x easier! I can not wait for their wedding day this summer! I just know it is going to be sweet.
