Miss Annabelle’s senior pictures at The Carillon and Belle Isle is just another golden senior session that I’m obsessed with! Week after week I’m just in awe at how amazing my seniors are. Their personalities, their hobbies and passions, where they’re heading for college… They just blow me away! And Annabelle is no exception! We bonded over dance and school and life, and it was just so very fun! OH, and just you wait until you see what the James River looked like at Belle Isle after two weeks of solid rain!!

We started her senior session at The Carillon, which most people don’t know about it! It’s right outside of Maymont downtown and has been under construction for several yers as they were restoring it. It just opened back up several months ago, and I am so glad it did! It’s so beautiful and such a fun mix of pretty architecture and nature! We did two outfits here. First, her elevated casual look which we mixed in a little dance and also her cap and gown. Then, she put on her college gear for some fun ones too!

Next, we headed over to Belle Isle where we were greeted with a nice surprise. Aka the river was FLOODED! And not just like the rocks were covered. I’m talking about massive, roaring water, death trap… I’ve never seen anything like it! Honestly, I kinda loved it (even though I was terrified in the moment). She definitely ended up with one of kind photos here! She was obsessed with the turnout too and was so excited! You’ll love them too when you see it!! Especially in her red set… insane. stunning. perfect.
