This twin senior session at the Virginia State Capitol and Belle Isle was A DREAMMMM! Kyla and McKinley drove all the way from NORTH. DAKOTA. to have their senior pictures taken with me… like, are you kidding me?! What an absolute honor and privilege it was to bring their vision to life and capture such an important season in their life. They did it the way I wish I did my senior pictures… GO BIG and be different!

We started their senior session at the Virginia State Capitol. It has quickly become one of my very favorite spots to take my seniors. It’s classy, timeless, incredible architecture… it’s just truly so beautiful. The lighting is also just stunning in the evenings. I love how Kyla and McKinley chose coordinating outfits without being too matchy-matchy. Their dresses and tops were similar enough, without screaming *we’re twins.* They absolutely killed it on the fits!

After doing two outfits at the Virginia State Capitol (one classic and one elevated-casual), we made our way down to Belle Isle. Now, if you’ve ever had a senior session at Belle Isle, then you know just how bad the parking is on a nice sunny evening is anyways. Now, envision it being opening night of the new Allianz Ampatheater….. YUP! That’s what we had to deal with. Honestly, it was a nightmare for me. The girls were absolute troopers and didn’t sweat a drop. Me on the other hand…. that’s a different story.

Anyways, we made it across the bridge to Belle Isle where the girls did two more outfits. One casual and one STUNNING PERFECT AMAZING AND BOLD. You’ll see what I mean when you scroll 😉

It was so much fun getting to know these girls and talk about life in North Dakota versus here in Virginia. They are sweet, fun, girlie, athletic, country girls and I ate up every single second of their twin senior session at the Virginia State Capitol and Belle Isle!!
