Senior sessions at locations that hold a lot of meaning and include special aspects of their life are truly just the best. Ava’s equestrian senior pictures in Fredericksburg was one of the most special sessions I’ve had in a while, for her and me!! Ava has been riding horses her whole life and decided to do her session at the place she spends the most time, her horse stable. She comes here almost everyday to ride her horse, Scout, and train for competitions. If you want a way to make your senior session feel like YOU, going somewhere that holds a special meaning to you is the way to do it.

At one point during her session, I actually got a little teary eyed (after screaming and jumping up and down from excitement how good the photos looked!), because I started thinking of my grandma who owned a farm with lots of horses and competed with them too. Just made me miss her, but I could feel her there with me. Anywayssss…. I could not get over how gorgeous this location was! It’s proof that you don’t need somewhere with a million different spots to have good photos. We actually spent the majority of her session in the same spot behind the barn because the lighting was INSANE and simply just JAW DROPPING!! You’ll know exactly what I’m talking about when you scroll down and see. Ava’s equestrian senior pictures are going down as one of my favorites, like EVER!

Ava is a part of an online school and unfortunately doesn’t get to walk in a traditional graduation, so capturing lots of cap and gown photos was so important to her and her mom because this kind of was her version of a graduation. Poor momma was crying and it was just the sweetest thing EVER!!

Ava, you are absolutely beautiful and amazing both inside and out. It was an absolute HONOR to capture your senior pictures. Thank you for bringing me into such a special part of your life. Can’t wait to see you off at Penn State in the fall!!!
