I just love this session with sweet Ashley! Her spring senior session at JMU was the perfect springy day with just enough cloud coverage. Ashley is getting her masters degree in speech pathology and drove all the way to Harrisonburg from North Carolina just for her session! She’s mostly been in online classes getting her masters, but obviously had to celebrate such a big accomplishment by capturing some grad portraits on campus. She graduated from ECU for her undergrad and wanted to showcase just how much she loved her time at JMU too.

One thing I loved the most about Ashley’s session were her yellow roses. Ashley’s mom passed away a few years ago and they were her favorite flower. I love that she had this little piece of her mom with her and I just know her mom is looking down and feeling so proud of what an incredible accomplishment she has made.

Ashley, you are just the sweetest! Thank you for letting me capture such an amazing season of life for you at JMU!! I can’t wait to see where life takes you post grad!! 💛
