It always means the WORLD to me when a senior is willing to travel to Richmond to work with me for her senior session! Melanie and her sweet mom drove all the way down from DC to take her senior portraits at one of the most beautiful spots in Richmond, Maymont Park! We had a little bit of an overcast evening, but ended with to most gorgeous glow by the end of the shoot! Melanie was an absolute ROCKSTAR the entire shoots. Doing her own thing and working the camera… I LOVED IT!!!

I come to Maymont Park all the time for senior sessions, because A) it’s gorgeous, B) there’s so many differenet spots that all have a different feel offering lots of variety in a gallery, and C) it’s free to photograph at! I mention that because most parks and gorgeous locations like this almost always have some sort of photography fee or permit you have to get ahead of time. So it is such a blessing that Maymont is open to photography!

I had so much fun with Melanie walking around and taking SO MANY cute senior pictures and talking about dance days. Her last outfit, the two piece matching set, was an absolute DREAM!! The most perfect fit for senior pictures (along with her other two as well!), but something about this one I just couldn’t get enough of!e

Melanie, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your senior portraits!! I had the best time with you and can’t wait to see you off at Clemson University in the fall!!
