Miss Morgan is back on the blog! If you think you’re seeing double, you are! Morgan’s spring senior session in Virginia Beach was dreamy, glowy, and so much fun. Morgan is on my Senior Rep Team and we originally took her senior pictures back in the fall in Fredericksburg (see it here!), but she really wanted to capture some portraits in her favorite place, the beach. So, off we went for a round two!

If you’ve ever been to Virginia Beach, you know the boardwalk area can be soooo busy (and, it’s definitely not as pretty without any greenery) so my favorite area to go is the North End. Maybe that’s supposed to be a secret, but I don’t gatekeep around here! We started her session off with a more casual fit with jeans and crop top. Cute, casual, effortless, and very beachy-girl vibes. We mostly stuck around the dunes for this fit and saved lots of water photos for her second look. We stuck around the dunes because A) lighting wise it was still pretty bright out and we needed some shade and B) wanted the pink, cotton candy sky for the next look.

After we spent some time taking some photos in the casual outfit with just her, her dog, and some little boats we found, we made our way back to the little boardwalk to change. I brought along my changing tent (Amazon link here!!) and the wind was so strong it took both of us holding it down while she changed so it didn’t blow away!! It was so funny and scary all at the same time LOL

Her second look was a green, flowy maxi dress from my Senior Style Closet! It was the perfect choice for some gorgeous, classic beach senior portraits. We spun around, ran down the beach, danced in the water, and laid in the sand and it was all I could have ever asked for! As much as I love my Richmond senior session locations, traveling for sessions is just the BEST! Not only does it give you unique senior pictures that stand out from all your friends, but its just the best excuse to go big and do something really fun and special for your senior year in a place that you LOVE!
