The morning of our wedding day was every bit exciting and nerve wracking. The early morning wake up call, pit stop at Starbies (of course) and ride to our venue with my girls just made the butterflies start swarming. Even though we had so much time to get ready, I knew it would start going by real quick.
The bridal suite at The Granary is gorgeous, and just the right amount of space. When we arrived, we had rose all ready for us and Meg excited to get started on makeup! Meg, from Captivating Complexion, was absolutely incredible and made all of feel so beautiful. I told her I wanted a mix of Barbie and Victoria’s Secret Angel, and y’all, she slayed.
Chip and I wrote letters to each other that we read on the morning of our wedding. From that point on, I literally couldn’t stop crying, but all happy tears of course! I also made him a *spicey* book and gifted it to him. His reaction and priceless!! Ladies, if you’re thinking about doing a boudoir shoot, do it. 10/10 recommend!
Long story short, I picked my wedding dress with just my mom there to see! So, I decided to do a first look with my bridesmaids! Only one of them guessed mostly correct of what it would look like, so it was so fun to surprise them! I also shared a first look with my dad and gifted him a tie with a photo of him and I from when I was little. *cue more tears* Both him and I could’t stop the tears! My flower girl, Janie, is my niece and I just love her to death!! Obviously had to get us matching dresses! I love these photos with her and even have one framed for my desk. She is just the cutest and I love how much we look alike!
After a few makeup touches, it was time for the first look with Chip….
