Get ready for a stunninggggg senior session at Historic Tuckahoe and the VMFA! Fall, cowgirl, horses, ballet…. I mean, all the vibes were there and they were immaculate. I had so much fun with Caitlyn at her session last in the fall and am so excited for you to see these photos. It was so unique and fun and I love how personal this session was for her. Caitlyn is one of my 2024 Senior Reps and it has been so fun getting to know her this year, especially after photographing her older sister’s senior portraits a few years ago!!

When Caitlyn told me she wanted country vibes but also wanted to incorporate some ballet photos, I instantly knew the locations we had to come to! Her senior session at Historic Tuckahoe and the VMFA was one for the books!! We started out at Historic Tuckahoe (FYI, for seniors interested in having their session here, they do have a $50 photography fee!) with a casual look first. Then, she changed into her cowgirl boots and hat and I could not have been more obsessed! Plus, the horses came out right as we started shooting and it just made the whole look complete. We may have gotten a little too excited and just pet the horses for so long.

We left Historic Tuckahoe and made our way down River Road to the VMFA (Virginia Museum of Fine Arts) for her ballet photos. This was the perfect location for this look! So pretty, classic, and just stunning. I love, love, love that she chose to do this look. It’s different, unique, and made for some epic senior portraits!
