Caroline High School Summer Senior Session at Maymont in Richmond | Liz

Miss Liz is and her summer senior session at Maymont is on the blog today! I loved working with this sweet country gal and getting to capture her personality for her senior pictures. Liz is a senior at Caroline High School and has already committed to South Carolina for her next 4 years!!! Literally so proud of her! I can’t wait to see her off doing big things next fall!

When Liz first reached out to me about her senior pictures, she mentioned wanting to go somewhere with lots of pretty flowers and greenery. We played with the idea of going to a flower shop, but eventually settled on the idea of Maymont. Which of course, is always a crowd favorite! Hot take…. I think Maymont is actually prettier in the summer than it is in the spring…. I know, controversial. The flowers are just a lot more dense and colorful in the summer! In the spring, it’s mostly tulips, which are beautiful, but I don’t know. I digress hahaha

We started off the session with a casual look and a few photos to celebrate her decision of committing to South Carolina. Then, she changed into a dressed up casual look with jeans, a super cute white top, and of course, her cowgirl boots! I love that the cowgirl boots are so in right now. They’re just so fun!! Next, she went with a cute sundress and and her sneakers for some more portraits with the flowers, and even her sweet dad jumped in for a few with her! Last but not least, she threw on her school tee to end off the session on a comfy, chill note and rep her home for the past 4 years, Caroline High School.

Loved this session and how fun we made it out to be, even in the BRUTAL heat and sun of summer time!
