One thing I used to struggle with SO much was senior boy posing. I am such a girls-girl and posing guys just didn’t come as natural to me. They didn’t want to be there, they never seemed excited, and it would really throw me for a loop. But once I figured out a workflow for posing senior boys, I never felt discouraged anymore and was way more excited to photograph them!

In this week’s YouTube video, I’m sharing my favorite poses for SENIOR BOYS! Never get stuck again with these go-to, comfortable poses for da boys! PLUS, I’m taking you with me to a real boy senior session where you get to watch me pose him IRL! I know, so fun right?

In case you want the quick run down, here’s the posing prompts:

1. Standing, arms crossed, body angled to one side, feet just slightly wider than shoulder width
2. Leaning against a wall, gate, etc.
3. Makin’ money, business deal pose (you’ll have to watch to see what I mean by this one 😉 )
4. Sitting, one knee bent up, one tucked under
5. Walking towards the camera and across the frame
6. Standing, face on towards camera, relaxed back into one leg, and hands in pockets with thumbs out
