The time has come ladies and gents. AI is taking over the world!!! Well, at least the photography world for now. Anytime I hop on social media, someone is talking about it or a new program they’ve found. To be completely honest, it freaks me the heck out! But, if I can get back over an hour of my time where I would have been sat at my computer editing away, I’ll take it. So, I decided to try Imagen AI for the first time and I filmed the whole thing!
There’s an all new YouTube video up as I walk through the process with you of trying AI photo editing for the first time. I used the software, Imagen AI, and guys, I loved it. I really did. I was super skeptical at first but the results BLEW MY MIND!
Imagen is an AI software that trains itself to edit your photos exactly the way you would. It starts by having you upload 3,000 images of edited Lightroom catalogs. It took about 14ish hours to train itself once I got this uploaded, so don’t expect to get completely set up all in one day. Once those were uploaded and Imagen had “trained” itself, I was ready to upload an unedited Lightroom catalog.
In just 3 MINUTES …. three. minutes. Imagen edited a full gallery of 286 images almost identical to how I had previously edited. (Disclaimer: I uploaded a LR catalog of a gallery that I had already edited and delivered to a client to see how close it would actually get it right. The catalog I uploaded was a new one with the RAW files, not the one I had already edited)
I went back in and made a tiny few adjustments just to be really picky and specific, and re-uploaded the catalog so Imagen could learn from the adjustment I had made.
What you see in this YouTube video is my real and kind of hilarious reaction to seeing the results! Watch it at the link below!!!
