The handsome Derrik is on the blog today! His senior session at Historic Tuckahoe was absolutely perfect and fit him so well! Derrik was absolutely the sweetest human and I am so excited for him! He will be graduating from Clover Hill High School and heading off to Radford University to study criminal justice!

Derrik’s senior session at Historic Tuckahoe was my first time visiting the grounds, and oh WOW! I am obsessed! Seniors, if you are wanting a sweet, country feel for your senior session, let’s go here! When Derrik told me he wanted a country vibe, I knew we had to try out this place. I got there early and walked around so I had a game plan of where to take him, and it was just the best session. I love the way his blue polo pops with all the glowy greenery. Looked so nice!

Derrik also wanted to include his truck for his session, so we drove his truck up into the field and got the most epic shots. Talk about country, trucks, and God bless the USA! I am obsessed with how these turned out! I could tell he was super excited about them too because he started coming up with ideas for pictures with his truck… my heart melted! hahah They honestly look like straight out of a country music video!

Let this be your sign… if there is something you love, include it in your senior session! Nothing makes your session more unique or special to you than including the things you love!

One of my favorite moments from Derrik’s session was right after he changed into his second outfit and his step mom asked if he was going to wear his hat the entire time. Derrik said, “What do you mean? This is a different hat to match my red flannel?!” I loved it 😂 and it definitely fit his personality!

Derrik, can’t wait to see you off doing amazing things in the fall!!! Keep being you!!
