Nashville Senior Session | Nashville School of the Arts | Caitlyn

EEP! I am so excited to share this session with you guys! Caitlyn’s Nashville Senior Session was just a dream, a freezing cold dream, but a dream nonetheless! I have known Caitlyn since she was in elementary school, so to be capturing her SENIOR portraits is just crazy to me and I feel so honored!

We started off Caitlyn’s Nashville Senior Session by the riverfront with a perfect view of the beautiful Nashville skyline. We originally planned her session for the day before, but it was so cloudy and rainy, so we pushed it back a day so at least it wouldn’t be rainy. Well, we didn’t get the rain, but we did get the cold front that came through and holy smokes was it COLD. We took a few warm up breaks, but that didn’t stop us from pushing through and capturing so many gorgeous moments!

We did took a few on the Pedestrian Bridge, and then drove over to a parking deck in the middle of town with a perfect view of the iconic Batman Building. Wish we would have stayed here longer, but I knew we had to hop on over to the Parthenon for some classic KMP flower portraits!! With it being cloudy, the sun was disappearing on us quickly, but I found one perfect spot in the cherry trees and wow, wow, wow i AM IN LOVE with how they turned out!!

Like I mentioned, the sun was quickly fading behind the grey clouds, but I knew that my reflector would completely change the outcome of how the photos looked and bring some light back into the image! If you haven’t tried using a reflector yet, you need to try it! They are pretty inexpensive on Amazon… I’ll actually link the exact one that I have had for over 6 years right HERE. With the help of the reflector, I was able to bounce some extra light back onto her face and eyes to brighten any shadows and and really make her eyes pop!

Adding this session to my list of all time favs!! Caitlyn, can’t wait to see you CRUSH IT at WKU!!! And hopefully slaying on the dance floor too 😉
