Miss Helena, a CFHS Eagle, is on the blog today and officially kicks off SPRING SENIOR SZN!!!! Helena’s spring senior session in historic Fredericksburg was the PERFECT beginning to a crazy, busy season filled with so many beautiful seniors. I can not wait to see what all is in store for all these soon to be high school grads!
We kicked off Helena’s senior session by the VRE station in downtown Fredericksburg. We were hoping this spot with the red wall would have some more blooms and pretty flowers to it, but sadly it wasn’t quite what we had envisioned. BUT I love how they turned out anyway! The pop of red behind her and the glowy sunlight looked so pretty! One of my favorite little street corners in downtown was just night next to this spot and I loveee how these look too! That bright green pop of the leaves paired with the neutral colored wall… chefs kiss! I can’t NOT talk about this amazing tulip tree in full bloom we found too! WOW WOW WOW. I want to blow those up and hang them on my own wall ahaha
I have to tell y’all too about our adventure of trying to get into Chatham Manor. Lawdy… there’s always something! If you are local to FXBG and hoping to go soon, just be sure you arrive before 5pm! They have a new rule that they close and lock the gate to get in at 5pm. So just an FYI! We arrived about 5 minutes after 5pm (I had no idea about the new rule!) Keep this on the DL but we were going to try and sneak in but a worker was standing at the gate and told us we could not park outside of the gate, BUT she told us we could park at the park next door and walk the path over. “Great!” so I thought…
We parked over at Pratt Park and walked over and got our dreamy, glowy sunset portraits (my fav!) We were talking about how it was so nice of her to tell us we could walk over, however, she failed to tell us that the other park closed at 6:00 pm…. So, we were trapped!!! Had to wait over 30 minutes for the Sheriffs department to come let us out! hahaha oops!!
Let this be your reminder that there will be some sort of hiccup along the way and that is OKAY! Not every senior session will be perfectly perfect, and honestly, it’ll probably make for a great story if it isn’t!
Helena, your senior session was everythinggg and I can’t wait to see how amazing college treats you and watch you go PRO with volleyball one day!!! Love ya girlie!
Not only do I love serving my seniors, but I also love serving my fellow photographers! From free downloads, to coaching, to weekly educational videos, and even an ever growing template shop for anything you need.
