Caroline and Adam, your New Field Farm at Timber Ridge wedding day was just everything magical and more. Your deep love for one another is so evident and this beautiful day captured it so well! The mountains, the wildflower details, all the colors… just a dream! So many friends turned family there to support you too, what a lovely day! After getting to know them at their Cape Charles engagement session last fall, I could just so easily tell they were meant to be together, and that their day was going to be absolutely beautiful!
The day started out with the girls getting ready in the bridal suite while the boys played a bit of corn hole outside. I just loved seeing your mom and Adam’s mom dressed in the matching PJs with your bridesmaids, too cute! When it came time to put the dress on, all the girls hid away so that Caroline could do a first look with them. It was SO sweet to see how excited they all were and finally get to se Caroline dressed up for the best day of her life. Caroline also decided to do a first look with the groomsmen, two who are her older brothers, the rest, best friends who feel like brothers. It was just the cutest seeing them all hype her up and get excited for their boy, Adam. Caroline also shared a first look with her dad and gifted him the sweetest tie with a photo of them on it.
Then it came time to share the first look with Adam, we were all just about in tears. The way Adam looks at Caroline…. it will melt your heart! Adam told her she looked like a snow princess which, ugh, I was literally crying behind the camera. The decided to write personal vows and share them at their first look. Both funny and sweet, I just admire their love for one another.
During Caroline and Adam’s ceremony, her Uncle Mike share a few words about her growing up, spending time together, and both sharing a number one love – chocolate. Now, however, Caroline has a new number one love, Adam, and her Uncle Mike was so proud and excited, yet sad they were not sharing the same number one love anymore. Caroline and Adam were both so giddy during the ceremony. Jumping up and down with excitement with the biggest smiles on the faces! Might just be one of the happiest ceremonies I’ve seen!
After lots of laughs and a few tears through toasts, we headed up the mountain to an overlook of the venue down below and the Blue Ridge Mountains. New Field Farm at Timber Ridge is a brand new venue! And WOW! It is just absolutely stunning. From the inside aesthetic to the million dollar views outside, it is just a dream! We were able to capture the most beautiful sunset portraits that Caroline had been dreaming of since they first saw the venue. She had been dreaming of an epic veil shot with the moutains they both love so much, and I think we captured that pretty perfectly.
Caroline and Adam, I adore you both. I can’t wait to see where the Lord leads you in the future! It has been an honor to capture your love story together!
