Julia Weaver Branding Session | Harrisonburg, VA

Julia’s branding session in Harrisonburg, VA really just screams who she is and what she’s all about. Julia is a senior and sweethearts photographer in the northern Virginia area and is also a full time videographer for her alma mater, James Madison University. She has a big heart for people and lights up every single room she walks in. She also just so happens to be my biz bestie, so it was an HONOR to capture a full brand experience for her as she is walking into a new season of her business. During our planning process, we walked through who her ideal clients are and who she’s wanting to reach. We took a look at her new business branding that’s coming soon to match the aesthetics of it all and really hone in on a more neutral, toned down JWP. As she’s beginning this new brand and recreating her biz, we also brainstormed about offerings she is wanting to provide in the future. Mentor sessions, a podcast maybe (I say heckkk yes to this!!! she would be amazing at it!) and captured content to start promoting these new offerings.

Julia even had the perfect space in her new apartment to capture her branding photos in. I always think photographing brand sessions in your natural, personal space is the best way to go. It makes the session more you and really targets that personal branding if that’s what your small business is all about. She had beautiful, big and tall windows to let great light in. A neutral color palette of furniture with pops of green from her plant babies, and overall just a stunning space to photograph in.

Julia, I am SO EXCITED for you and for whats in store in the future. You have always been on the path to big things and I can’t wait to see where you are going to grow in this new season of your business. Enjoy!!
