Charleston Branding Session | Rainbow Row with Haley Foster

A few days ago I was able to visit the oh-so charming city of Charleston, South Carolina! Every corner was just as pretty as the next, aka, a photographer’s DREAM! So, obviously I needed to capture some portraits of someone! Haley Foster is a wedding photographer in South Carolina and was my lovely model for a Charleston branding session on Rainbow Row.

Have you ever seen that meme of the three Spidermen all pointing at each other? Okay, well this is what it felt like because at the same time I was capturing Haley’s branding shots, my friend Meghan was also taking pictures of me! A photographer illusion if you will. One of the primary reasons I traveled down to the city was to have my very own branding session for something new that will be launching very soon. This was the perfect chance to capture portraits for someone else while also getting some beautiful ‘behind the scenes’ shots of myself. I don’t know if you ever noticed, but the photographers never have photos of themselves! I wonder why…

Anyways, it was such a fun time meeting this sweet girl! She kept us laughing the entire time and was our own personal tour guide through Rainbow Row and Tradd Street. One of my favorite shots is a close up of her engagement ring! She wanted something vintage looking and her now husband did the perfect job of creating a new ring with a vintage flare. Of course then we all three got on the talk of engagement rings and dreaming. Haley captures absolutely stunning, timeless wedding images for her couples and has a great eye for detail. We obviously wanted to capture the heart of Charleston but also stay within her branding. So we chose a house with a light pink wall and one more neutral with a little bit of a French – Paris feel to it. I’m kind of obsessed with how these turned out and I hope you love them too!
